Travel Support Information
Limited numbers for travel support are made available for young scientists who give presentation at FAONS Symposium from IBRO and FAONS funds. Application must be made through IBRO Website.
Transportation
Transportation from Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi Airport) to Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University and the hotels nearby (Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, Patumwan Princess Hotel, Asia Hotel Bangkok, etc.).
1. By Airport Bus Express
There are 4 airport bus express lines.
AE1: Suvarnabhumi-Silom
AE2: Suvarnabhumi-Bang Lampoo (Khoa San Road)
AE3: Suvarnabhumi-Sukhumvit
AE4: Suvarnabhumi-Victory Monument-Hua Lamphong (Train station)
Airport Bus No. AE4 will take you from the airport to Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University and the hotels nearby. The bus is on the 1st floor, gate 8, time 05.00-24.00. The airport bus runs every half an hour and cost 150 Baht. It takes about 1 to 1 and half hours depend on the traffic.
2. By Public Taxi
Public Taxis are organized by Airport Officials and locate on the second floor of the airport. The cost is calculated by adding 50 Baht airport charge + tolls (2 tolls: 25 Baht + 40 Baht) and meter charge. The price is about 400 Baht in total to the hotels near Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. It takes about 1 to 1 and half hours depend on the traffic.
